SPICE Events 2018–2020

DevCamp, organized by Gesellschaft für Informatik, is a tech conference making participants co-creators. The conference gathers developers, computer scientists and IT enthusiasts on November 23,  2018 in the University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg.  Interactive workshops organized by participants provide opportunities to discuss with experts and make contacts. Everyone becomes an active participant in the camp as all lectures are chosen and held in advance by the participants.  
Innovative approaches such as quantum computing and artificial intelligence significantly increase the potential applications of computer systems in society, organizations, companies and the personal environment. DevCamp aims to familiarize students with these exciting developments and to provide them with first practical insights. In addition to a general introduction, workshops and barcamps give access to practical experience.

Slush is a student-driven, non-profit movement originally founded to change attitudes toward entrepreneurship. Now it is one of the largest startup events, held annually in Helsinki, Finland and was held earlier this year in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Singapore. In 2017, more than 2,600 startups, 1,600 investors, and 600 journalists from over 130 countries attended - Slush Helsinki 2018 is on the agenda for December 4 – 5, 2018.
The very core of Slush is to facilitate founder and investor meetings and to build a world-wide startup community. With presentations, top keynotes and panels on six stages in Helsinki the event attracts founders, startups, investors and media from around the world. At the Tech-Dialog, leading experts discuss future technologies. And an extra stage is reserved for pitches.

sTARTUp Day is the largest business festival in the Baltic States bringing together the startup and business community. It's a flagship event where startuppers and traditional entrepreneurs, experts and newbies, government and media will loudly and proudly discuss early stage businesses. 2,600 attendees coudl be counted at the sTARTU Day 2017.
sTARTUp Day is an event where people who have thought about creating their own startup can get the necessary motivation and actually go through with their idea. The “European interactive business festival for digital movers and makers”, hub.berlin 2019 on April 10+11, 2019 will bring together 5,000+ digital experts for two days in Berlin to pave the way to a digitized future.
Keynotes, lectures, and workshops on ten stages will offer a wide range of topics and options to work together. Exhibition- and tech touch areas complete the program. Super Early Bird Passes are available until 23 August 23, 2018.

The next edition of the annual „Pioneers“ will be held in Vienna on May 9-10, 2019. Under the headline “Walk the Talks” the event will deal with questions like “Will we become a trans-planetary species within our lifetime? Will we be able to print out fully functional organs? Will we fly to work in pods or even work at all? Will we find love with robots?
Pioneers'19, is expecting 2500 pioneering entrepreneurs to attend and look into the future. The global community of selected startups, executives and investors will meet in the 500-year-old Hofburg Imperial Palace in Vienna to inspire, empower and create platforms where innovation can thrive and result in profitable new business relationships.
The organizers promise to “go beyond the hype” and offer participants to ”see pioneering deep tech”. Very early birds may save €500 on the tickets. However, booking option is available only now and for the first 100 tickets.
